Password Manager

Keeping track of passwords sucks.

I am testing some Free Password Managers in order to find the best one that satisfies my personal needs. In this section I am going to write a brief review about each one and also I am going to include some screenshots.

One thing that I have found out so far is that, unfortunately, something no password manager currently offers is a way to store those blasted “additional credentials” and “security questions” that financial institutions are demanding nowadays.

Moreover, if you have been using the built-in password management of Firefox (as I was used to do), Password Exporter is a Firefox add-on that allows you to export your saved passwords and disabled login hosts using XML or CSV files that can be imported somewhere else.

 

However, there are some password managers that I am not going to use:

KeePassX is a free/open-source password manager or safe which helps you to manage your passwords in a secure way. You can put all your passwords in one database, which is locked with one master key or a key-disk.
